Engagement Terms

All advisory engagements with Sightline Resources are governed by a written engagement letter or consulting agreement executed prior to the commencement of work. In the event of any conflict between information on this website and the terms of a signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.

Scope of Work

Services are performed as described in the applicable engagement letter. Any changes to scope, timeline, or deliverables require written agreement by both parties.

Confidentiality

Sightline Resources treats all client information as strictly confidential. We do not share, disclose, or reference client information publicly without express written permission. This obligation survives the conclusion of any engagement.

Fees and Payment

Hourly engagements are invoiced based on actual time at the agreed rate. Fixed-fee engagements are invoiced per the schedule defined in the engagement letter. Payment terms are net 15 unless otherwise specified. Sightline Resources does not bill for time spent correcting errors attributable to Sightline Resources.

Work Product Ownership

Upon full payment of applicable fees, all work product, deliverables, models, plans, and documents produced for a client engagement become the exclusive property of the client. Sightline Resources retains no ownership interest in client-specific work product.

Limitation of Liability

Sightline Resources provides advisory services. Decisions made by clients based on our recommendations remain the responsibility of the client. Sightline Resources shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from reliance on our advice or the use of any deliverable, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Our total liability in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms and any engagement with Sightline Resources shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles.
