Fiduciary Statement
What is a fiduciary?
Our Commitment to You
Sightline Resources operates as a fiduciary in every engagement. That means our recommendations are made exclusively in your best interest — not ours.
We have no financial incentive to extend engagements beyond what is necessary, recommend services you don't need, or steer you toward any particular outcome other than the right one for your business. We don't accept commissions, referral fees, or compensation from third parties in connection with our advisory work.
Our value to you depends entirely on the quality and integrity of our advice. The moment we begin optimizing for our own interests at your expense, we have failed at the most fundamental level. That is not how we operate — and it never will be.
What fiduciary means in practice:
We tell you what we actually think, even when it isn't what you want to hear.
We recommend the scope of engagement that fits your situation — no more, no less.
We disclose any potential conflict of interest before it can affect our advice.
We hold your confidential information with the same care we would expect for our own.
We measure our success by your outcomes, not by the size or duration of our engagements.

Our Commitment
Our Commitment to Every Engagement
Every Sightline Resources engagement is governed by a straightforward set of commitments — to you, to the work, and to the standard of professionalism you should expect from anyone you trust with consequential decisions.
Clarity before we start. We define the scope, objectives, deliverables, and timing of every engagement in writing before work begins. You will know exactly what we are doing, why we are doing it, and what the output will be. There are no surprises.
Honest counsel, not comfortable counsel. Our job is to give you our best thinking — not to validate decisions you have already made. If we see a risk, a gap, or a better path, we will tell you. That is what you are engaging us to do.
Confidentiality, always. Information you share with us in the course of an engagement is held in strict confidence. We do not share client information with third parties, reference client engagements publicly without permission, or use your information for any purpose other than serving you.
Your intellectual property is yours. Any work product, model, plan, or deliverable we produce for you belongs to you. We retain no ownership interest in work created for a client engagement.
Responsiveness and follow-through. We hold ourselves to the same standard of accountability we help our clients build. That means we meet our commitments, communicate proactively, and follow through on what we say we will do.
Fees and billing. Hourly engagements are billed at the agreed rate against actual time. Fixed-fee engagements are scoped and priced before work begins, with payment terms defined in the engagement letter. We do not bill for time spent correcting our own errors.
